aaKHiri Tis aazmane ko

aaKHiri Tis aazmane ko
ji to chaha tha muskurane ko

yaad itni bhi saKHt-jaan to nahin
ek gharaunda raha hai Dhane ko

sang-rezo mein Dhal gae aansu
log hanste rahe dikhane ko

zaKHm-e-naghma bhi lau to deta hai
ek diya rah gaya jalane ko

jalne wale to jal bujhe aaKHir
kaun deta KHabar zamane ko

kitne majbur ho gae honge
an-kahi baat munh pe lane ko

khul ke hansna to sab ko aata hai
log tarse hain ek bahane ko

reza reza bikhar gaya insan
dil ki viraniyan jatane ko

hasraton ki panah-gahon mein
kya Thikane hain sar chhupane ko

hath kanTon se kar liye zaKHmi
phul baalon mein ek sajaane ko

aas ki baat ho ki sans 'ada'
ye khilaune the TuT jaane ko
