aaKHir-e-kar chale tir ki raftar qadam
ghair manzil na paDe rah mein zinhaar qadam
uTh gae wasl ki shab peshtar-az-yar qadam
aage hum umr-e-rawan se bhi chale chaar qadam
ku-e-maqsud se yun rakhti hai ghaflat mujhe dur
jaise so jaane se ho jate hain be-kar qadam
