A Magic Mountain - Poem by Leo Yankevich

It comes to this: a greyness like no other
under clouds uncanny as the mist.
And down below, the village church so small
its Sunday bells on Monday reach the crest.

And leafless trees descending to the river,
melting snowmen lined against the wall
where shelters stronger than your lack of faith
await the never-ending miracle.

And suddenly it burns a living gold
beyond the scope of any oracle.
And you forget your pain, forget your death,
and greet the ghost that has you in its hold.

TUM HI TUM YAAD REHTE HO

Kisi bhi mouj melay me,
Ya duniya k jhamely me,
Har ik shey chor ka

Sanu Khauf Nai Shakir Dushman Da
Sanu Yaar Di Yaari Kha Gai Ay...

Chehre pe mere zulf ko phailao kisi din,
kya roz garajty ho,barass jao kisi din.

Raazon ki tar

Pani ki bondain phulon ko bhiga rahi hai
Thandi lehren ek tazgi jaga rahi hai,
Ho jaye aap b inme

Whereas at morning in a Jeweled Crown
I bit my fingers and was hard to please,
Having shook disast

Lutf Wo Ishq Mein Paaye Hain Ke Jee Jaanta Hai
Ranj Bhee Aisay Uthaaye Hain Ke Jee Jaanta Hai

Then a woman said, "Speak to us of Joy and Sorrow."

And he answered:

Your joy is your sorrow

In my breast
A wail of grief
Without any spark or flash
Alone survives
Passionless, ineffectual

Tanhayi Ka Dukh Gehra Tha
Mein Darya Darya Rota Tha
Ek Hee Leher Na Sambhli Warna
Mein Toofaanon

Bas Dil Se Kisi Din Mango To Khuda Se....!

Usy Rokte Bhi To Kis Tarha K Wo Shakhs Itna Ajeeb Tha

Kabhi Tarap Utha Meri Aah Se Kabhi Ashk Se

Agar Koi Mohabbat Karne Wala Insan Tum Par Ghussa Karna Chor De

To Samajh Jao K Tum us Ki Naza

AS one who having wandered all night long
In a perplexed forest, comes at length
In the first hour

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its lovliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingnes

Manty Hain Sara Jahan Tery Sath Hoga
Khushi ka Har Lamha Tery Pas Hoga

Jis Din Tot Jayen Gi Sa

Nigahon K Tasadum Se Ajab Taqrar Karta Hai
Yaqeen Kamil Nahi Lekin Guman Hai Pyar Karta Hai...

Ghareeb Maan Bary Pyar Se Apne Bachon Ko Yoon Manati Hai
Phir Bana Lenge Kapray Ye Eid To Har Saal

Sakht-jaani ki daad de ae dost,
Jee raha hoon tere zamaane main..

Apne saaye se chonk jatey hain,
Umer guzri hai is qadar tanha..
