In the PSL 2022 Draft, these Pakistani superstars were downgraded.
As soon as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed on December 12 that the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) draught will be held in Lahore, Pakistani cricket fans were ecstatic.
When some of their favourite players were downgraded from Platinum to Diamond in a category renewal for local players, some of the excitement melted away.

Many current international stars have been elevated to the top category based on recent results.
Mohammad Rizwan, the captain of Multan Sultan, the 2021 winners, was one of the most significant changes. He went from Silver to Platinum on the strength of a year-long streak of success.
Two more significant gainers are Islamabad United's Asif Ali (formerly Gold) and Lahore Qalandars' Haris Rauf (previously Diamond).
Multan Sultans' Player of the Season Sohaib Maqsod and Peshawar Zalmi's Haider Ali have risen from the Silver and Gold divisions to the Diamond.
